The SC686A-EM-TE-A 3GB+32GB is an Eval adapter board for Linux OS. The SC680A series is Quectel's latest generation of Smart LTE Cat 6 modules with integrated Android operating system and is ideal for industrial and consumer applications with high data rates and multimedia capabilities. The module is based on a Qualcomm octa-core processor (QCx4290) and 64-bit ARM v8.0 compatible application processor with built-in Adreno 610 GPU that supports high performance and various multimedia features.
The SC680A series also supports multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology, which uses multiple antennas at the receiver end on the same frequency band to minimise errors and optimise data speed. In addition, the module supports dual band multi-constellation GNSS (GPS/GLONASS/BDS/Galileo/NavIC/QZSS) receivers for positioning.
A wide range of interfaces such as LCM, camera, touch panel, MIC, SPK, UART, USB, I2C, SPI extend the module's applicability to a variety of M2M applications including smart POS, smart cash registers, smart home gateways, smart robots, smart wearables, security monitoring, PDA & tablets, vending machines, delivery lockers, police and law enforcement equipment, video streaming and entertainment systems, etc.
