Quectel - L76-L EVB-KIT Evalboard for the GNSS module L76-L
The Quectel L76LEVB-KIT is an evalboard for the L76L-M33 GNSS module. It supports simultaneous reception of GPS, GLONASS (or BeiDou), Galileo and QZSS. It can acquire and track any mixture of GPS, GLONASS (or BeiDou), Galileo and SBAS signals. The L76-L is designed to be compatible with Quectel L76, L76K and L76-LB modules, allowing convenient migration between them.
The integrated LNA provides high sensitivity, high position accuracy, fast tracking and acquisition of signals, and can maintain better performance even in challenging environments. Compared to a single GPS system, activating multiple GNSS systems increases the number of visible satellites, shortens the time to first fix and improves position accuracy, especially when driving through dense urban canyons.
By combining EASYTM (Embedded Assist System), an advanced AGNSS function, with GLP (GNSS Low Power), a power saving mode, the L76-L module achieves high performance, low power consumption and fully complies with industry standards. EASYTM technology allows the module to automatically calculate and predict orbits using ephemeris data (of up to 3 days duration) stored in internal RAM. This allows the L76-L to quickly achieve a fixed position even at lower signal levels with low power consumption. GLP technology, on the other hand, allows the L76-L to adaptively adjust the on/off time based on environmental and motion conditions to achieve a balance between positioning accuracy and power consumption.
Its enhanced performance makes the L76-L ideal for industrial PDA, consumer and industrial applications. The extremely low power consumption makes it a great solution for power-sensitive applications, such as portable devices.
