Quectel - LC29DEAMD ultra compact dual band GNSS module LC29D
The Quectel - LC29DEAMD is a dual-band GNSS module with RTK/DR functions. This GNSS receiver is designed for simultaneous reception on two GNSS bands and has an integrated 6-axis MEMS sensor and RTK unit and computes with dead reckoning algorithms and combines them with sensor data, GNSS measurements and wheel ticks.
The Quectel - LC29DEAMD module itself can achieve sub-metre positioning accuracy in the open air. Compared to GNSS modules that operate only on the L1 band, the LC29D module can track both the L1 and L5 bands for GPS. Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou satellites (L5 band only for LC29D (B)*), L1 band for GLONASS satellites and L5 band for IRNSS satellite. This greatly increases the number of satellites involved in tracking and positioning, improving positioning, accuracy and significantly reducing the multipath effect caused by tall buildings in urban environments.
The integrated LNAs and SAW filters provide better positioning in weak signal areas and other challenging environments. Due to its high precision, the LC29D module is an excellent choice for real-time tracking systems, such as vehicles, personnel and asset tracking or sharing economy applications.
