The Quectel LG77L GNSS module supports simultaneous reception of GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS. With 33 tracking channels, 99 acquisition channels, and 210 PRN channels, it can acquire and track any mix of GPS, GLONASS (or BeiDou), and SBAS signals. Compared to a single GPS system, enabling multiple GNSS systems generally increases the number of visible satellites, shortens time to first fix, and increases position accuracy, especially when driving in harsh urban environments. Combining advanced AGNSS functions such as EASY™ (Embedded Assist System) and power saving modes such as GLP (GNSS Low Power), the LG77L achieves high performance, low power consumption and fully complies with industry standards. EASY™ technology allows the module to automatically calculate and predict orbits based on ephemeris data (up to 3 days) stored in internal RAM, allowing LG77L to quickly fix position even at lower signal levels with low power consumption. With GLP technology, the LG77L can adaptively adjust the on/off time to achieve a balance between positioning accuracy and power consumption according to the environmental and moving conditions. Its excellent performance makes the LG77L ideal for industrial PDA, consumer and industrial applications. The extremely low power consumption makes it a great solution for power sensitive applications, especially portable devices.
