Qualcomm development kits – hardware development kits (HDKs) and evaluation boards for Snapdragon and Dragonwing – are the fastest way to assess a platform under real conditions: compute, camera/display connectivity, connectivity and software stack, before you commit to volume and architecture. As an official Qualcomm distributor we supply kits including documentation, sample apps, AI demos and FAE support. From there you continue with System on Modules or System on Chips.

Which kit suits my project?
It depends on the target application, required peripherals and the planned volume platform. Our FAE provides a requirements fit and recommends the right kit.
Are the kits close to production?
Yes – HDKs and eval boards are based on the same platforms as the later SoMs and SoCs. Results transfer directly to the production design.
Can we use our own cameras/displays?
Yes. We support connection, tuning and calibration and source special variants when needed.
Which software is included?
Typically prepared BSPs for Linux/Yocto or Android, reference apps and documentation. We support bring-up and adaptation.
