Adapters, Cables & Debug Accessories
Adapters, cables and debug accessories are the unglamorous tools that keep embedded projects running: MIPI and display cables, interface adapters, USB-UART bridges and debug probes for JTAG/SWD. See also: Single Board Computers, Camera Modules and Power Supplies & Enclosures for the complete setup.
Arduino USB-C Cable (24 pin) 1m TPX00243
- Concept: External USB-C power adapter for powering Arduino-related development and workstation setups
- Configuration: Listed as an AC/DC External Adapter Input from Arduino; described in distributor channels as a 36W Power Supply
- Use case: Suitable for lab, test, and evaluation environments that require a separate external power source
- Development focus: Repeatable power delivery for demonstrators, engineering benches, and technical validation setups
- Design note: Verify output voltage, output current, USB-C PD profiles, and regional plug/cable format against manufacturer documentation before design-in
Arduino USB-C Hub (8 in 1) TPX00241
- Concept: USB-C hub for extending a USB-C host with additional I/O and peripheral connectivity
- Configuration: Listed as an 8 in 1 USB-C dongle from Arduino; suitable as a compact connectivity expansion for desktop, lab, or mobile setups
- Use case: For development workstations and evaluation environments where multiple peripherals need to be connected in parallel to a USB-C-based system
- Development focus: Faster reproduction of test and demo setups through centralized host-side connection of external devices
- Design note: Verify exact port configuration, data rates, video features, and power-delivery capability against manufacturer documentation before design-in
What belongs in the toolbox?
- Signal and display cables: MIPI-CSI/DSI ribbon cables with the right pin count and length – keep them short for signal integrity
- Interface adapters: level shifters, I²C/SPI breakouts and converters between connector standards
- Debug access: USB-UART bridges for the serial console, JTAG/SWD probes for low-level debugging and flashing
- Custom assembly: lengths and connectors configured to order

Developer FAQs
Which cable for my camera module?
Decisive are pin count (15 or 22), pitch and contact orientation of the ribbon cable, plus the shortest possible length. We offer cables matching cameras and boards.
Why do I need a USB-UART bridge?
For the board’s serial console – the direct line into the system during bring-up, BSP development and troubleshooting when network and display are not yet running.
Are custom-assembled cables available?
Yes – lengths, connectors and labelling are produced to order on request.
