The LC79HALEK is a Evalboard for the LC79HALMD GNSS module. This is an ultra-compact, Automotive Industry Standard 140 (AIS-140) compliant DUAL-band GNSS module with dimensions of 10.1 mm × 9.7 mm × 2.4 mm that has a simultaneous multi-constellation GNSS receiver on two GNSS bands.
The module supports L1 and L5 bands for GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou IRNSS and QZSS. This increases the number of satellites that can be involved in tracking and positioning, significantly reducing the multipath effect of tall buildings in densely populated urban environments, reducing signal acquisition time and improving positioning accuracy. In addition, the module's built-in LNAs and SAW filters serve to ensure better positioning in weak signal areas and harsh environments.
The LC79D's advanced power management and 28nm process technology make the module ideal for power-sensitive and battery-powered systems.
