Modular Vision 15.6 MX8M-Plus Overview
The Modular Vision 15.6 MX8M-Plus belongs to Seco's HMI product line and is a pre-configured, ready-to-use 15.6-inch HMI system built on the NXP i.MX8M Plus applications processor. Every system in this family is powered by the same SOM-SMARC-MX8M-Plus module and combines computing, display and connectivity in one compact unit.

- NXP i.MX8M Plus Quad processor with integrated accelerators for video (VPU), image signal processing (ISP), audio (HiFi4) and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU), plus CAN-FD controller, per the manufacturer price list.
- 4 GB RAM and 16 GB eMMC flash storage in this configuration (manufacturer price list).
- Based on the SMARC 2.1.1 compliant SOM-SMARC-MX8M-Plus computer-on-module in a 50 x 82 mm footprint.
- 15.6-inch touch display with projected capacitive (P-Cap) touchscreen in a panel-mount design with foam seal, per the manufacturer price list.
- Modular Vision platform interfaces: 2x RS232, 1x RS485 full duplex, 1x CAN-FD, 1x Gigabit Ethernet, 1x USB-C (dual role), 1x USB 2.0 Type A, plus digital inputs and outputs.
- IP66 rating from the outside for panel-mount integration, with panel-, VESA- or rear-mount options.
- Pre-installed Clea OS (Yocto-based) for device management, telemetry and remote maintenance via the SECO Developer Center.
