Nuvoton - Microcontroller M071SE3AE
Nuvoton - M071SE3AE
The NuMicro® M071SE3AE series is a 32-bit microcontroller based on an Arm Cortex®-M0 core intended for smart home device applications. It offers a CPU frequency of up to 72 MHz, 128 KB of flash memory for code storage, 16 KB of SRAM for runtime operation and configurable data flash memory for parameters. To meet code security requirements, the M071SE3AE series incorporates a flash security lock that provides a secure code execution area to protect the developer's intellectual property. The M071SE3AE series also supports online updates with In-System Programmer (ISP), In-Circuit Programmer (ICP) and In-Application Programmer (IAP). The In-System Programmer (ISP) with 8 KB Loader ROM (LDROM) supports firmware updates through the Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) process. Peripheral Direct Memory Access (PDMA) is also provided to reduce the CPU core's data access overhead to peripheral devices.
The M071SE3AE series supports numerous peripherals, including a built-in temperature sensor with a resolution of 1°C, adjustable VDDIO pins for a wide voltage range from 1.8V to 5.5V, 6 channels of 16-bit 144 MHz high-speed PWM for precise control, 3 sets of UART, 2 sets of SPI, 2 sets of I²C and a real-time clock (RTC). The M071SE3AE series also offers extensive analogue peripherals, including 12 channels of 12-bit ADC, and integrates a set of USB 2.0 Full Speed Device with on-chip PHY that operates crystal-less in device mode.
