The Turbox™ C6490 development kit for the Thundercomm TurboX C6490 SOM supports multiple 5G sub-6GHz bands and is backward compatible with 4G/LTE networks. It supports Android 11 and Android 12. The TurboX C6490 SOM is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G SoC QCM6490 and supports video 4K60 fps decoding / 4K30 fps encoding, five 4-lane MIPI-DSI and a variety of peripheral interfaces GPIO/UART/I2C/I3C/SPI/USB 3.1.
The C6490 SOM has a very long life cycle as a 5G smart module and targets various markets such as handheld terminals, dash cameras, smart POS, drones, etc. Its extensive hardware interfaces and software SDK can help customers validate functions and prototype quickly.
