SBC-E09 Heat Spreader Overview
The associated board is a 3.5" SBC with Rockchip RK3568 SoC, 4x Cortex®-A55 cores up to 2.0GHz with Neural Processing Unit (NPU), supporting up to 3 independent displays along with a good range of wireless and wired connectivity. For ordering purposes, the SBC-3.5-RK3568 is referred to by its base code, "E09". The heat spreader is designed to dissipate heat generated by the processor: the miniaturization of ICs and the high operating frequencies of the processors lead to high heat generation that must be dissipated in order to maintain the CPU within its allowed temperature range, and the operating temperature specified in the technical features of the module/board indicates the range in which all parts of the heat spreader / heat sink must remain for Seco to guarantee functionality.
